T&R Theakston Ltd
A traditional English brewery established by Robert Theakston in 1827 in the town of Masham in rural North Yorkshire. The business is still controlled and run by members of his family, brewing a range of beers, including Old Peculier, recognised throughout the world for their flavour and character.
The Victorian brewery contains open fermenters and much of the original vessels and is open to public through organised tours. Theakston brews several different styles of beer products using finest locally sourced ingredients, water from their well 100 metres below the brewery and the famous Theakston twin-strained yeast, giving the beers that unmistakeable Theakston character. Their beers are sold throughout Europe and the rest of the world.
