Lithic Brewery

Lithic Brewing was established in 2015 in a small village some 5 miles to the east of Brecon in the heart of Mid Wales, producing a small range of canned and kegged craft beers. In 2019, the brands were acquired by Brecon Brewing (a part of the Cold Black Label group of breweries),  following Lithic’s owner’s decision to return to Geology. Working with Lithic’s founder, the brewing was moved to the new brewing facility at Brynmenyn, with the only change made to turn these into a Gluten Free range of beers.

All Lithic beers are unfiltered and unfined, and are therefore suitable for Vegans as well as being certified Gluten Free. The range currently comprises of :

With a 10Hl and a 50Hl Brew-houses, we can be very versatile, and the addition of SALSA plus Beer Accreditation ensures consistent quality. Canning is done in-house using our new 6-head CODI counter-pressure canning line, and significant investment has also occurred for  additional tanks and upgrades to kegging facilities.
